We beat Caherline in the junior b hurling league played in Caherconlish. Scoreline; Knockane 2-4, Caherline 0-6. Caherline dominated proceeding in the first half and we trailed by a point at the interval. Two late goals from Fergal Grace and Michael Paul Ryan and a point from Niall Ryan gave us victory on the night.

Date: Thurs 15th May 2003. We drew with South Liberties on Thursday in the hurling league in Knockane. Scoreline; Knockane 2-5, South Liberties 0-11. We led at half time by four points. After the break the opposition came back into the game, and they led entering the last quarter. A goal from Anthony O'Grady had us ahead again, but a late free saw South Liberties tie the game.

We defeated Ballybricken in our final junior b hurling league match last Thursday evening in Caherelly. Scoreline; Knockane 1-6, Ballybricken 0-1. We led at half time by 1-1 to 0-1 playing against a strong breeze, the goal coming from Fergal Grace. In the second half, points from Patrick Hennessy, Lance Carroll, Michael Paul Ryan and Anthony O'Grady gave us victory on the night. Despite our recent good run of four matches unbeaten, we narrowly failed to qualify for the final stages of the league.

In our final football league match played last Monday in UL, we defeated Milford by 0-11 to 0-5. The open half was evenly contested and we led by 0-6 to 0-5 thanks to points from Mike Browne and Eoin O'Connor. In the second half we dominated proceeding and added further points through Mike Browne and Anthony O'Grady.
