Extensive renovations to Garrydoolis NS began this week. Works involved are re-roofing, yard surfacing, car parking facilities and new floors. The Board of Management and Parents are organising an envelope collection to raise the local contribution towards the cost of these works. They will be distributing envelopes around the parish and surrounding districts over the next few weeks. Any contribution will be gratefully appreciated. Thank you for your support.

In the opening round of the hurling championship, we were defeated by Murroe/Boher by 4-9 to 1-7. This was a bitterly disappointing display following weeks of training and successful challenge matches. For match report check fixtures and results section.

We have had a number of winners in the Limerick Development Draw over recent months including; Eileen Regan, Templebraden; Patsy Ryan, Pallasgreen, Dan Quinn, Longstone.

The footballers of Knockane captured their first east Junior b football title since 2003 when they defeated South Liberties after a replay in Kilteely on the scoreling 2-12 to 0-2. For match report fixtures and results section.Training continues under lights at Knockane under coach Tommy Flynn and selectors Michael O'Connell and Roger Butler.

Oct - Nov - Dec 2003

In the county stages of the Junior B football competition we defeated Milford in the quarter final in a match played in Caherconlish by 1-9 to 0-6.

Our run came to an end in Bruff in late October when we were comprehensively defeated by Castlemahon in the county semi-final stage. Overall a tremendous year from the football side of things. The year was capped off with James O'Connor claiming the East Limerick GAA Board Allstar award for Junior B Football at a function in Kilmurray Lodge in November.
