On Saturday evening we drew with Doon in the opening round of the junior b hurling league played in Knockane. Scoreline: Knockane 0-8, Doon 0-8
After a bright opening half, we were 3 points ahead at the interval. With free taker Anthony O'Grady in fine form, we led entering the closing stages. Doon equalised late on for a share of the points. We now face Ahane in the next round to be played this weekend.

We suffered 2 defeated in the junior B Hurling League, Ahane beat us in a game played at Newgarden, while Pallasgreen defeated us by 3-12 to 2-2 in Pallasgreen
Junior B Hurling League played in Kilteely. Scoreline: Knockane 0-6, South Liberties 3-11 We trailed 0-5 to 0-6 at half time. After an injury to Mike Browne in the second half, South Liberties took control of the game and ran out easy winners in the end.

At half time, we trailed 2-7 to 0-3 and the game was over as a contest. In the second half we improved our performance and with frees from F. Grace and fine points from sub Johnny Hourigan in the closing stage we made a much improved scoreline.

We controlled much of the possession in the opening half, but conceded a goal just before half time to trail 0-4 to 1-5. The second half was a close contest, we went ahead late on, but Fedamore struck with a late goal to secure the points.
