Knockane Vs. Caherline in Kilteely at 7.15pm
Knockane 1-6, Caherline 3-10
In a game played in wet conditions, an under-strength Knockane side, Caherline took control of the game from the start and forged ahead at half-time. Knockane only response was 2 pointed frees from Pa Hennessy. Knockane trailed by 0-2 to 0-6 at the interval.
Knockane increased their effort in the second half, but it was Caherline who struck with 3 goals to seal the victory. Pa Hennessy had a late goal and points from Lance Carroll and Willie O'Donnell proved too little, too late.
